There could not have been a funnier weekend for the Patriots and Mike Vrabel to head down to Nashville and take on the Titans.

The Baltimore Ravens Are a Catastrophic Mess Going into their Bye
This goes to show how Harbaugh has lost the fanbase and the locker room. We are really going to see where this Ravens team is going after the bye week, because that playoff window is closing fast...

Anderson's Takeaways from Week 7 of College Football
Then, there's Penn State's season officially going nowhere after a third straight loss, a season-ending injury to their quarterback, and the firing of their head coach, James Franklin. The rankings aren't done being shifted around, as college football tends to get stranger by the week. Old playoff contenders are re-emerging while new ones are appearing out of sight.

Gaffney's 2025 NFL Week 6 Team of the Week
Maye wound up 3-of-4 on throws 20-plus air yards downfield for three TDs and 107 yards, and had an earlier TD, and then a later 50-plus yard third down throw was wiped off due to very suspect penalties. Not the MVP front-runner, but Maye is absolutely in contention after six weeks.

The Patriots Keep on Trucking With Their Third Win in a Row in NOLA
Even with some beyond atrocious officiating, however, this was nowhere near a "great" team performance, in that the offense stalled for a chunk of the second half, the aforementioned run offense had maybe its worst game of the season, and the Patriots' defense, while not bad on the whole, did give up some bad plays in this one.

Are the New England Patriots on Trap Game Watch in New Orleans?
Off the most significant win this team has achived this decade, the New England Patriots find themselves set to embark on what, at a visual glance, appears to be a relatively easy stretch of games. Between this weekend and their Week 14 Bye, the combined record of their opponents is 13-27, featuring five times currently dead last in their divisions, and the only division leader they're scheduled to play over this period is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 10.

Anderson's Takeaways from Week 6 of College Football
Penn State and Texas are both unranked for the first time in about three years, following their shocking losses last Saturday. Another traditional football power was expected to collapse like the Egyptians, but instead regained power in the Southeastern Conference.

Gaffney's 2025 NFL Week 5 Team of the Week
Meanwhile, Llyod continues his reign as the top outright pass defender in the NFL per EPA per pass and PFF grading, and has the play of the year in his back pocket now: a 99-yard pick-six of Patrick Mahomes.

The New England Patriots are Back
Ending with no TDs is a little bit of a shame since Maye was legitimately flawless otherwise, but he made no shortage of winning plays, and if you rate this as his definitive career outing, I don't blame you in the slightest. He was absolutely unfazed in one of the toughest road environments in the league, and the Bills had no answers for him.

The Patriots Make Their Final-Ever Trip to Ralph Wilson Stadium Under the Lights vs. Josh Allen and the Bills
A very weird feeling knowing this is the final ever primetime game slated for Ralph Wilson Stadium, barring any late-season schedule adjustments. Very fun game to go out on if so, and one that I think goes down to the end.

Ravens' Loss to the Chiefs Highlights the Obvious: The Harbaugh Era is Over
The Baltimore Ravens suffered a devastating loss on September 28th, 2025, in a game that quickly turned into an embarrassing outing largely attributed to questionable coaching decisions.

Gaffney's 2025 NFL Week 4 Team of the Week
A slew of huge injuries league-wide, unfortunately, headlined Week 4, but on a lighter note, there were several excellent games on Sunday, ranging from Tampa vs. Philly, New York vs. LA, and a Sunday Night thriller of Green Bay vs. Dallas.

Anderson's Takeaways from Week 5 of College Football
Week five of college football presented a lot of dogfights and upset-destined matches. The expectations were exceeded for this weekend's slot of games. The Heisman race is suddenly having new contestants, and clear favorites for conference titles are emerging. The freshman quarterback in college football isn't who you think he is.

Patriots Boat Race the Panthers After a Slow Start, Thanks to Marcus Jones' Return Game Excellence
One play will never win or lose you a game in pro sports, but one can always be the start of something big, and in football, that can especially apply on the special teams front.

What Do the Patriots Need to Do to Stop Bryce Young and the Panthers from Sending Them to 1-3?
Unfortunately for Carolina, they've been hit with the injury bug badly in these first few weeks of the year. Starting right guard and center Robert Hunt and Austin Cobert are out for the year and two months, respectively. Tight end Ja'Tavion Sanders is currently week-to-week with an ankle issue, and both starting edge rushers, D.J. Wonnum and Patrick Jones, are also confirmed out.

Ravens Loss to the Lions Raises More Questions Than Answers
For Baltimore, the damage was self‑inflicted in key moments. Derrick Henry coughed up a costly fumble in the fourth quarter — his third in as many games — that set up a Lions field goal and swung momentum decisively. The Ravens attempted a late comeback, but a failed onside kick and inability to sustain drives sealed their fate.

Gaffney's 2025 NFL Week 3 Team of the Week
While David Montgomery deserves heaps of credit for the Lions' huge road win over the Ravens with his 151 yards and four runs of at least 10 yards, Penei Sewell was probably even better. He's clocked in, allowing just one pressure on 30-plus dropbacks for Jared Goff, and PFF graded him out with a 99.3 run blocking grade, which, in watching that game in real time, certainly tracks.

Five Turnovers Sink the Patriots vs. Aaron Rodgers and the Steelers
Even on a day where the Patriots' defense was mostly solid and consistently was able to bail out a Patriots offense that committed five turnovers (four fumbles, one pick), the offense was the "bad football to take advantage of" talked about all offseason in its final form for at least one afternoon.

The Patriots Host the Pittsburgh Steelers for the First Time in Six Years, Hoping to Advance to 2-1
Fresh off a huge win down in Miami for the first time since 2019, the Patriots are throwing it back for a weekend to honor Julien Edelman and (regrettably) Bill Parcells by inducting them into the Patriots Hall of Fame, and then hosting the Pittsburgh Steelers 24 hours later. Their AFC North foe is coming off a brutal fourth-quarter collapse against the Seattle Seahawks, and worse than that, is going to be down multiple starters on the defensive side of the ball tomorrow.

Ravens Defense Came to Dominate Against the Browns
Lamar Jackson shined, in the second half. In the first half, he looked off target but still managed some spectacular throws, completing 19 of 29 pass attempts for 225 yards and four touchdowns—still a good outing for QB1. The run game was stalled, with Derrick Henry only getting 23 yards total.
