Gaffney's 2025 NFL Week 11 Team of the Week

Week 11 featured one of the best 1 pm slates of the year, and specifically one of the best "Witching Hours" to boot, with multiple games coming down to the wire from coast to coast. Sunday Night and Monday Night Football...not as good, but an overall good weekend of NFL action. Here are my standout performers as we get closer to Thanksgiving.

Gaffney's 2025 NFL Week 11 Team of the Week (First-Team)

Offense: Bryce Young (QB, CAR), Ezra Cleveland (OL, JAX), Sean Tucker (RB, TB), Tet McMillan [R] (Pass Catcher, CAR)

Two years in a row now, Bryce Young has been as close to lights out as you can get when it comes to playing the Falcons in Atlanta. Ending their playoff hopes in Week 18 less than a full year ago, the ex-No. 1 pick went on to have the most prolific passing performance of the year vs. a stout Atlanta pass defense: 448 yards, 3 TDs, 0 INTs, passer rating of 123.2, and an EPA of +11.9. Not even getting to the fact that he got knocked out of this game briefly, and still put up a very, very good stat line in what was a comeback OT victory. Give credit to his top pass catcher, Tet McMillan, who was tremendous in this victory as well, with two scores and 130 yards on eight receptions.

A week after he became the first player all season to crack the 50-yard rushing mark vs. the New England Patriots, Bucs running back Sean Tucker backed things up with a career day out in Buffalo with a three-TD day; two on the ground and one through the air with 140 total scrimmage yards. This also marks the second straight week that Tucker has averaged north of 5.5 yards per carry in a game, doing so against two very different run defenses in terms of quality. What a nice revelation he's turned out to be in these last three weeks with Bucky Irving hurt.

This week's First-Team OL recipient would be Ezra Cleveland, who had a 100-percent clean performance in pass protection on a day that Trevor Lawrence wasn't sacked once, and was a decent part of why the Jags' running attack was as good as it was. Watch the first clip here and watch the recovery to make this block.

Defense: Christian Barmore (IDL, NE), Myles Garrett (EDGE, CLE), Jack Campbell (LB, DET), Kam Kinchens (DB, LAR)

The Patriots losing Milton Williams was the furthest possible thing from ideal on Thursday night, but Christian Barmore stepped up big time with one of his best all-around games since that monster outing in Denver in 2023. His six pressures and 22.2 percent pressure rate both topped the charts among IDL players in Week 11 (among those with > 20 pass rush snaps), and he picked up his first sack of the year.

Speaking of New England in a roundabout way, Myles Garrett had one of the best games of his career vs. them several weeks back and wasn't too far off yesterday vs. the Ravens. By far and away, his four sacks on Lamar Jackson led the league this week, and he also has a really nice three-yard loss TFL on Derrick Henry down inside the 10 in the later stages of the first half. A shame these efforts are practically all in losses, but he was also the one who willingly opted to stay in Cleveland, so.

Jack Campbell of the Lions was another true impact defender who got overshadowed by a loss (15 tackles, 10 stops, coverage EPA of -3.2), but one guy who was pivotal in his team's huge divisional victory was Rams safety Kam Kinchens. His two interceptions of Sam Darnold directly led to 14 Rams points on drives that would begin at the Seahawks' 3 Yard Line and 25 Yard Line, respectively, and his -12.9 coverage EPA trailed only his teammate Cobie Durant for the best of Week 11 (prior to MNF).

Rookies: TreVeyon Henderson (RB, NE) and Carson Schwesinger (IDL, CLE)

Before Sean Tucker got his hat trick in, Patriots' rookie TreVeyon Henderson beat him to the punch, putting up two on the ground and one through the air, outscoring the New York Jets by himself last Thursday evening. While it wasn't a super-efficient night on the ground, Henderson did show some good ability as a check-down guy as well, hauling in all five of his targets for 33 yards. What is efficient, though, was five touchdowns in five days for the Ohio State product; that's just math, folks.

Carson Schwesinger has been a standout all season on what's an elite Browns defense, and Week 11 was more of the same. 10 tackles (2 TFLs), plus a very clutch red zone interception that ended up being in heavy traffic off a helmet deflection. He's the betting favorite for Defensive Rookie of the Year according to DraftKings, and I've seen nothing to this point in 2025 that would dispute that. Cleveland got itself a great one.

Gaffney's 2025 NFL Week 11 Team of the Week (Second-Team)

Offense: Josh Allen (QB, BUF), Trent Williams (OL, SF), De'Von Achane (RB, MIA), George Pickens (Pass Catcher, DAL)

Defense: Jeffrey Simmons (IDL, TEN), Micah Parsons (EDGE, GB), Jordyn Brooks (LB, MIA), Quinyon Mitchell (DB, PHI)

Rookies: Bhayshul Tuten (RB, JAX) and Deone Walker (IDL, BUF)
