Gaffney's 2025 NFL Week 11 Team of the Week
Week 11 featured one of the best 1 pm slates of the year, and specifically one of the best "Witching Hours" to boot, with multiple games coming down to the wire from coast to coast. Sunday Night and Monday Night Football...not as good, but an overall good weekend of NFL action. Here are my standout performers as we get closer to Thanksgiving. Gaffney's 2025 NFL Week 11 Team of the Week (First-Team) Offense: Bryce Young (QB, CAR), Ezra Cleveland (OL, JAX), Sean Tucker (RB, TB)

Quick Turn Around for the Patriots as they Host the New York Jets to Kick Off NFL Week 11
The Patriots haven't been super gung-ho with the PA game outside of the Buffalo and Pittsburgh game, but I think there could be some massive opportunities for Drake Maye on that front with the missing pieces on the other side of the ball.

Not Pretty, But the Patriots Advance to 7-2 in a 24-23 Win over Atlanta
There hadn't been an "ugly win" to this point in the season for the New England Patriots, but that's probably the best way to describe their one-point victory over the Atlanta Falcons.

The Patriots Running Game Shows Signs of Life In Huge Win vs. the Titans
More or less, yesterday's Patriots win over the Tennessee Titans went just about according to plan. They settled in after a trio of scoring drives by Cam Ward and co., and cruised on with a 31 point afternoon and now find themselves on their first four game win streak in nearly four years, and as the two seed in the AFC behind Indianapolis. Not only did Drake Maye dazzle once again, but the running game, yes, the running game, was gigantic in this win, with Rhamondre Stevenso

Are the New England Patriots on Trap Game Watch in New Orleans?
Off the most significant win this team has achived this decade, the New England Patriots find themselves set to embark on what, at a visual glance, appears to be a relatively easy stretch of games. Between this weekend and their Week 14 Bye, the combined record of their opponents is 13-27, featuring five times currently dead last in their divisions, and the only division leader they're scheduled to play over this period is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Week 10.

Patriots Boat Race the Panthers After a Slow Start, Thanks to Marcus Jones' Return Game Excellence
One play will never win or lose you a game in pro sports, but one can always be the start of something big, and in football, that can especially apply on the special teams front.

Can Drake Maye and the Patriots Kick-Off 2025 on the Right Foot vs. the Pete Carroll Raiders?
Over the last seven or eight years, Week 1 has been a mixed bag for the Patriots, but no matter who has headed the sidelines, been the top dog under center, or played on defense, home openers have been a major struggle for this team during the same timeframe. Going into Mike Vrabel's first-ever regular season game coaching the team he played eight seasons for, New England has dropped their last four home openers, as well as five of their previous eight.
