NBA Suspends Draymond Green indefinitely

The NBA suspended Golden State Warriors forward Draymond Green indefinitely on Wednesday.

Green's suspension was for hitting Phoenix Suns center Jusuf Nurkic in the face during Tuesday night's game. He received a flagrant foul 2 for the hit and was ejected from the game. The ejection was his third of the season and 18th of his career, the most among active NBA players. The suspension is Green's second of the season. In November, he was suspended for five games for putting Rudy Gobert of the Minnesota Timberwolves in a headlock.

According to the NBA, "This outcome takes into account Green’s repeated history of unsportsmanlike acts. Green’s suspension will begin immediately.  He must meet certain league and team conditions before he returns to play."

This season, Green is averaging 9.7 points, 5.8 assists, and 5.5 rebounds. According to ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski, Green, his agent, Rich Paul, and Warriors general manager Mike Dunleavy Jr. are expected to meet on Thursday to talk about counseling and assistance for Green. Hopefully, the counseling and assistance will help Green as he clearly has issues that he needs to work on. If Green's behavior and anger issues don't improve, the Warriors should release him.
