Knicks Week 4 Recap: East Coast Gauntlet

The Knicks have won their last three contests, two of which were by double digits, to sit at 8-5 at this point in the season, which is good for the sixth seed in the conference. Jalen Brunson has hit the 32-point mark on back-to-back nights against the Wizards and the Hornets to end a week in which the Knicks went 4-1, and their offense scored over 116 points in every win.

Sunday, November 12 - Hornets vs Knicks

The Knicks won this contest 129-107 at home against the young Hornets off the back of RJ Barrett scoring 24 points and knocking down 4-of-6 three-pointers. Julius Randle chipped in with 23 points and three steals while Brunson added 20 of his own. The Knicks jumped out to an early lead in the first quarter against the Hornets and then proceeded to outscore the Hornets in every quarter except the final one to take the victory. The Knicks shot 54 percent from the field and 41 percent from three.

Monday, November 13 - Knicks vs Celtics

The Knicks drop this contest to the Celtics 114-98, with Brunson leading the team in scoring with 26 points and Randle accumulating 25 points and nine rebounds. The Knicks shot 42 percent from the three-point line but couldn't stop the potent offense of the Celtics, with Jayson Tatum dropping 35 points.

Wednesday, November 15 - Knicks vs Hawks

The Knicks pulled out a nail-biter against rival Atlanta 116-114 behind the play of Randle, who had 29 points, 10 rebounds, and eight assists. Brunson added 24 points and eight assists of his own to the contest. Immanuel Quickley (20 points) iced the game for the Knicks, making two clutch free throws to put the game away.

Friday, November 17 - Knicks vs Wizards

Knicks completely overwhelmed the Wizards winning 120-99 behind 32 points and seven rebounds and assists from Brunson. Randle added 22 points, seven rebounds and eight assists. The Knicks pulled away after winning the fourth quarter 31-15 to secure the victory. They held Washington to 45 percent shooting from the field and 31 percent from three.

Saturday, November 18 - Knicks vs Hornets

The Knicks won their third straight game by beating the Hornets 122-108. Brunson scored 32 points again and was helped by Dante DiVincenzo, who added 25 points. Randle hot start to the season continues meanwhile, dropping 21 in the win.

The Knicks will now face the Western Conference-leading Timberwolves on Monday night, looking to extend their winning streak to four games.
